La Gomera

Description

La Gomera, the greenest of the Canary Islands, offers you a trip through a magical laurel forest, valleys and spectacular landscapes. On arrival to the island, you visit San Sebastian, the capital of the island, with its attractive historical town center, where Columbus more than 500 years ago made a stop on his way to the eastern coasts of Asia. Next, you head to the heart of La Gomera, the National Park of Garajonay. You stroll through the enchanting laurel forest, which with its whimsical curly branches immerses you in the atmosphere of a fantasy film. After learning the history of the aborigines of La Gomera from your guide, you will have a traditional lunch where locals will demonstrate their unique Gomeran whistled language, also known as Silbo Gomero.
