Visit one of the most famous zoos in the world! Loro Park is a beautifully decorated theme park where you can have a great time with your family or friends. It offers you a full day of excitement watching animals and discovering Thai architecture and exotic plants. One of the highlights of the visit to Loro park is its shows that have brought it a world-wide fame. Orca show is number one for its popularity. People of all countries come to Tenerife to see it with their own eyes. The other 3 shows can't be overpraised neither: sea lions, parrots and dolphins make a great impression on each visitor of their performance.
Remember to visit Planet Penguin, a place with a real iceberg that has become a home for hundreds of penguins. It is considered to be the best representation of penguins' natural habitat in the world.
La Gruta takes you into the secret world of bats. These nocturnal creatures live in a recreated cave that is fully soundproof due to their sensitive nature.
Younger visitors can also enjoy their time in Kinderlandia, a place resembling African village where children can climb huts and trees, balance on hanging bridges, and play in jungle.

Transport
If you are in the South of Tenerife, you can book a transfer that picks up tourists from the hotels and goes directly to Loro Park. There are two types of buses: regular transfer and express.
The express stops in: H10 Costa Adeje, the Duke Shop, Bahia Fañabe Suits, CC Fañabe Plaza, Allsun Hibiscos, Ole Tropical Playa, Best Tenerife, Columbus, Sol Tenerife, Paradise Park. It collects passengers only from 2-4 stops and gets started to Puerto de La Cruz. If you see that your hotel is close to one of these bus stops, better choose this option.
The rest of the South of Tenerife (from Los Gigantes to el Medano) is picked up by a regular transfer with the only difference that it might take longer to collect all clients.
It takes about 1,5 hour to get to Puerto de La Cruz. The returning hour will be specified in the bus. Usually, it is about 16:30, so you can spend the whole day in Loro Park and see all shows.
If you rent a car, you can go to Loro Park on your own. There is a paid parking by the entrance to the park. Be careful, in the high season it usually gets full by 10:00.
