Transport
If you are in the South of Tenerife, you can book a transfer that picks up tourists from the hotels and goes directly to Loro Park. There are two types of buses: regular transfer and express.
The express stops in: H10 Costa Adeje, the Duke Shop, Bahia Fañabe Suits, CC Fañabe Plaza, Allsun Hibiscos, Ole Tropical Playa, Best Tenerife, Columbus, Sol Tenerife, Paradise Park. It collects passengers only from 2-4 stops and gets started to Puerto de La Cruz. If you see that your hotel is close to one of these bus stops, better choose this option.
The rest of the South of Tenerife (from Los Gigantes to el Medano) is picked up by a regular transfer with the only difference that it might take longer to collect all clients.
It takes about 1,5 hour to get to Puerto de La Cruz. The returning hour will be specified in the bus. Usually, it is about 16:30, so you can spend the whole day in Loro Park and see all shows.
If you rent a car, you can go to Loro Park on your own. There is a paid parking by the entrance to the park. Be careful, in the high season it usually gets full by 10:00.

Loro Park is open every day from 9.30 to 17.30. It is a full day out with shows, animals and tropical gardens, so plan to spend the whole day in the park.
How to get to Loro Park from the south of Tenerife
The bus option picks you up near your hotel in the south and takes you straight to Loro Park. There are two types of bus. The express bus collects passengers from only 2 to 4 stops and then heads to Puerto de la Cruz. Its stops are H10 Costa Adeje, the Duke Shop, Bahia Fañabe Suites, CC Fañabe Plaza, Allsun Hibiscos, Ole Tropical Playa, Best Tenerife, Columbus, Sol Tenerife and Paradise Park. If your hotel is close to one of them, the express is the better choice.
The rest of the south, from Los Gigantes to El Medano, is covered by the regular transfer. It works the same way, it just may take a little longer to collect everyone. The drive to Puerto de la Cruz takes about 1.5 hours. The return time is announced on the bus and is usually around 16.30, so you still have the day to see all the shows.
If you have a rental car, you can drive to Loro Park yourself. There is a paid car park by the entrance, but in high season it is usually full by 10.00, so it is worth arriving early.
